You have an iPod. Your friend has an iPod with a killer song, a funny video or a cool photo you don’t have. It seems like it should be easy to transfer media from your friend’s iPod to yours. And with a miShare it is.
The tiny miShare preforms an electronic version of an iPod mind meld. Once connected you can copy any DRM-free file (such as those sold through the Amazon music store) from one iPod to the other. Copy a single file, all the songs of a particular artist or an entire playlist. It all works remarkably easily and intuitively. The file copying happens at a speed of about 500KB/second, meaning you can transfer approximately six songs per minute.
The miShare uses the standard iPod’s 30-pin dock connector so it will fit virtually any iPod except for the iPod Shuffles (and the first two generations of the “classic” iPod). With the downloadable firmware upgrade the miShare will also work with the iTouch and iPhone. So buy this cool gadget and do what your mother always told you to: Play nice and share.
